With Anna Redish. Altered books provide a great way to avoid your fear of the blank page! In part one, you will learn techniques such as windows, pockets and pick-a-word poems. In part two, you will explore paint and lettering styles, and alter photos. Single workshop $40, both $70.

Join Anna Redish for 4 hours of uninterrupted art time. Learn to make a journal, or bring your own (or something else you're working on). Art journaling is a creative, safe way to connect with yourself. A new technique will be demonstrated at the start of the evening to get creative juices flowing. Pay-what-you-can. Materials supplied and/or bring your own favourite tools. |

Make your favourite flowers, herbs, and leaves last forever in this workshop with Laura Dee. She will show you how to press your own botanicals and how to use them to make cards, bookmarks and ready-to-frame art. $60 includes all supplies to make 3 cards, 1 bookmark and 1 8x10 picture. Please bring botanicals from your garden and a heavy book to press them in.
